ALEXANDRIA / CATACOMBS / POMPEY’S PILLAR / GREEK ROMAN MUSEUM / VIEW OF CITADEL
Visit the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. This necropolis has a series of impressive Alexandrian tombs, statues and ancient Pharaonic archaeological treasures. In the chamber, you will be able to sneak in through a breach in a wall to see the Hall of Caracalla, where you will see remains of humans, and horses that belonged to the emperor Caracalla in 215 A.D.Visit Pompey’s Pillar, a column in the ruins of the Temple of Serapeum. The column named originally to remember Roman general Pompey, killed by Cleopatra’s brother was built in AD 291 as part of a statue for emperor Diocletian.We will see the Roman Amphitheatre in Alexandria dating back to 2nd Century A.D.
