Greece ETIAS VISA Requirements
By 2026, Greece plans to implement a Visa policy where anyone traveling to Greece must have a valid visa or ETIAS visa. As of March 1, 2025, the policy has not been implemented but can be at any time. Once implemented, visitors from visa-exempt countries can apply for travel authorization through the ETA-IL system. Other than the above ETIAS visa which can be obtained on line, U.S. passport holders do not need a visa to visit Greece, just a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the end of your Greece stay). Visitors are allowed to stay in the country for three months from date of arrival. However, visitors from many countries do require visas. To check the requirements for other nationalities contact the Consulates in your area for the countries you will be visiting on your tour. Visa polices are subject to change without notice – it is your responsibility the current regulations before traveling.
