Ancient Dion

Dion is located at the base of Mount Olympus, in the archaeological park of Dion. The park is the most important archaeological site at Mount Olympus. 

The ancient city of Dion in Greece was a center of culture and worship, and is considered a sacred site. It was a religious center for the Macedonians, and was dedicated to Zeus, the king of the gods.
